Illustrator
Today lesson we learned how to use Adobe Illustrator and some of its tools such as pen tool, curvature tool, and selection tool.
In today's lesson, we learned some techniques and more tools to create a front cover and a pattern of curved lines with the title Media Passport
I applied gradient shading to achieve a black-to-gray metallic look, which contributes to a dystopian and futuristic vibe. This technique adds depth and gives the background a mechanical, industrial feel. The gothic font for "Media Passport" and "Robotel" was selected to convey authority, secrecy, and tradition, making the design resemble an official document in a regulated society. The layered star effect enhances depth, featuring a black outer star with a red center, symbolizing power, danger, or revolution. The hexagonal pattern in the background subtly suggests a robotic or armored face, emphasizing the cybernetic and militaristic theme through sharp angles and symmetry. A dark color scheme of black, gray, and red was chosen to create a serious and striking visual, ensuring the design feels bold and futuristic. I added subtle lighting effects to give the metallic components a reflective, dynamic quality, enhancing their realism and immersion. Finally, I focused on impactful minimalism, using simple yet striking shapes and contrasts to maintain clarity and symbolism without cluttering the design.
After we've done the front cover we started to create some patterns using some lines in two layers which we changed color and curved the lines to create a unique pattern.
After finishing and adding every single detail for the Media passport I exported the final product
Here is the back cover/ 3rd page which represents the journey, in the photo is a plane, this photo is taken by me 1 year ago
